While co-educational learning environments has its place, single gender educational settings can be extremely valuable.  Research supports that single gender education tends to empower students, boost self-confidence, and allow students to excel in an environment free from opposite-sex distractions.

SheSIPs is a spin-off of the summer internship program.  It’s a platform for high school girls to gather in a safe space to freely discuss sensitive topics that they may not feel totally comfortable discussing in the presence of boys.  Topics like:

  • self-advocacy
  • mental health
  • financial management
  • healthy concepts of relationships
  • self-care
  • period insecurities

Professional women, from across the nation, interact with our girls empowering and inspiring them to be fearless as they transition into adulthood.  During these sessions, girls express themselves without judgement, biases, guilt, or shame.
