Career development affords individuals an opportunity to discover their talents, skills, and passions.
The purpose of the I Aspire program is to get students to think in terms of how they can become a better person (at home, in their community, and at their school). In a safe environment, students are able to develop their thoughts, receive assistance with developing SMART goals, articulate their ‘Why,’ and receive immediate feedback from a GROW Coach. The program also enables students to think about their talents, skills, and abilities and compare them to specific career industry requirements.
The AnnieRuth Foundation’s “I Aspire” program provides a platform for high school freshmen and sophomores to begin thinking about their aspirations from a personal, academic, and workforce development/career perspective.
