Thank you so much for taking the time to come present at (S.P. Livingston Elementary School). The fruit and vegetable samples were so awesome and tasty, but beyond that, it was super beneficial. Half of the students hadn’t even tasted, seen or heard of many of the foods that you introduced to them.

I felt privileged to volunteer my services with the AnnieRuth Foundation; it was an awesome experience to be able to help assist in preparing the back packs filled with supplies and giving bagged fruit and vegetables to the students at Ocean way Elementary school, the kids were taught how to make healthy choice in selecting the foods they eat. This organization is doing an outstanding job educating our communities on various topics!

The Annie Ruth Foundation is a passionate organization, catering to addressing and helping to resolve issues surrounding youth, young adults, seniors, academics, poverty, and the social climate within the community. I have had the pleasure of working with its Founder, Ms. Dee Wilcox. Her commitment and dedication is contagious! She has just the right combination of humility, compassion and spunk to lead this organization to the next level. I am truly a fan and supporter of the AnnieRuth Foundation.

When I came to the workshop this morning, I didn’t know the topic. All I knew is that the AnnieRuth Foundation was hosting it so I knew I had to be here.

My experience at Pediatric Care Center was amazing! I am so thankful for the AnnieRuth Foundation because they gave me a chance to see (first hand) what I will be doing for the rest of my life; helping children. I never thought I would be selected but when I received the call, I was so happy and so thankful words still cannot describe how blessed I feel to have had this opportunity!

I would like to thank the AnnieRuth Foundation for delivering such outstanding community outreach to our residents. Young adults are in need of guidance in order to be successful in life. The facilitators’ enthusiasm in delivering a difficult topic, Breaking the Cycle, is truly appreciated. Our young people need enlightenment nowadays, more than ever. Thank you from all of us at University Plaza!!!

Being an award recipient of the AnnieRuth Foundation’s Summer Internship Program has given me the upper hand when it comes to completing college assignments. I’ve been able to share the knowledge, skills and wisdom that I received during the internship with my colleagues at BCU and I’m already viewed as one who will excel in the competitive industry of Communications. The experience will also help me when I become an international motivational speaker. I am so very appreciative of the AnnieRuth Foundation for affording me this opportunity!

Through the AVID elective class, students become a family and participate in a number of activities geared towards college and careers. Your resume writing workshop was a perfect fit for our AVID students and allowed them an opportunity to delve deeper into their career by actually strengthening their resume and preparing for (an actual) interview. This is an awesome workshop that I would recommend for students and adults alike as they seek to build or strengthen their career portfolio and to ensure that they are adequately prepared for interviews. Thank you again for all that you do!

The first word that comes to mind when I think of the AnnieRuth Foundation is empowerment. They believe that empowering individuals can empower a community. The foundation promotes education and helping individuals to be the best that they can be. Keep up the good work!!

I want to take a moment to thank (the AnnieRuth Foundation) for presenting two workshops at the Mayor’s Young Leaders Advisory Council’s College, Career and Trades Fair. I just finished going over the surveys, and the students gave both of your presentations – “Understanding What Employers Want” and “Resume Development” – ratings of “excellent.” If the Advisory Council decides to host this event again next year, and I believe they will, you will be on the top of their invite list. Again, thank you for spending your Saturday helping Jacksonville’s young people gain valuable knowledge that will help them start and grow in their careers.
