2024 Awardees
In 2024, the AnnieRuth Foundation offered nine scholarships to ease the financial burden of deserving high school seniors, from across the nation, as they transitioned from high school to college.

In 2015, Debra Wilcox passed away. Debra was the sister of Dee Wilcox, Founder & CEO of the AnnieRuth Foundation and the granddaughter of Ruth Kearney – of whom the AnnieRuth Foundation is affectionately named.
In 2019, Dee created a scholarship platform to keep her sister’s memory alive; sharing with the world how devoted Debra was to her family, her country, the arts, and empowering others to be successful.
Applications for 2024 scholarship awards are currently being accepting. High school seniors may apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible.

Our 2024 scholarship applications are now closed. Please check back in January 2025 for scholarship opportunities. High school seniors may apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible.
William Jacob Easton Scholarship Fund
– Current 12th grade student
– Attends Jean Ribault High School
– Maintains a 3.0 GPA
– Is an athlete
– Received college acceptance letter
Sgt. Major Debra J. Wilcox Scholarship Fund
– Current 12th grade student
– Maintains a 3.0 GPA
– Is a member of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
– Received college acceptance letter
Deborah Jones Moore Scholarship Fund
– Current 12th-grade student
– Maintains a 3.0 GPA
– Plans to major in Education or Psychology
– Received college acceptance letter
Enro Davis Scholarship Fund
– Lives in Duval or Nassau County
– Current 12th grader
– Maintains a 3.0 (or better) GPA
– Accepted into an HBCU
– Major in education, athletics, or Law Enforcement
Deborah Kay Myers Scholarship Fund
– Current 12th grader
– Attends William M. Raines high school
– Maintain a 2.5 GPA
– Plans to attend an HBCU
– Major in Business or Special Education
The Akhlaghi Family Scholarship Fund
– Current 12th grader
– Maintain a 3.0 GPA
– Aspires to become a medical professional, financial advisor, or study in the field of law
Northeast Florida Medical Society Scholarship
– Current 12th grader
– Maintains a 3.0 GPA
– Lives in the state of Florida
– Is of African American decent
– Aspires to become a medical professional
