Through the AnnieRuth Foundation’s Summer Internship Program, I’ve learned ways to be successful; from learning how to perform well during an interview, to speaking out more when in public, to learning how to start my own business. The experience has given me confidence and has equipped me with tools to comfortably handle any challenge that comes my way. I am very thankful to the AnnieRuth Foundation for providing this opportunity.

I felt privileged to volunteer my services with the AnnieRuth Foundation; it was an awesome experience to be able to help assist in preparing the back packs filled with supplies and giving bagged fruit and vegetables to the students at Ocean way Elementary school, the kids were taught how to make healthy choice in selecting the foods they eat. Through the AVID elective class, students become a family and participate in a number of activities geared towards college and careers. Your resume writing workshop was a perfect fit for our AVID students and allowed them an opportunity to delve deeper into their career by actually strengthening their resume and preparing for (an actual) interview.
