About Deborah Jones Moore

Deborah Jones Moore was born March 16, 1952, in Jacksonville, FL. She attended the Duval County Public School system graduating from Wolfson Senior High School in 1970.

Moore accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She believed that “to whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48) and lived her life accordingly. Moore had a big heart and treated everyone she encountered as a dear friend. She was selfless, respectful, thoughtful, and would give up her last to help others.

Moore attended the University of North Florida where she earned a Master’s degree in Psychology. She joined the Florida Blue family in 1984 holding a variety of positions, the last being a Sr. Provider Relations Consultant. In this role, Moore received extensive training on medical procedures and traveled throughout the state of Florida educating administrators, physicians and their office staff on guidelines associated with the Medicare program. After giving the company 29 years of dedicated service, Moore retired in 2013.

Moore enjoyed, traveling, fine dining and the company of family and friends. Moore was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend to many.
